To preface this, I would like to say that this is about that annoying late-90s craze known as Pokemon. [Shut up.]
And that I have copies of both Hoenn versions of Pokemon, Ruby and Sapphire. The latter game is the one I restart and play from the beginning for nostalgic reasons. (I've worked too hard on Ruby to erase my file. o.o; )
And that this journal may rant. Please bear with me.

Okayso.
I've recently taken it upon myself to try to complete Pokemon Sapphire using only pokemon that remind me of certain OC's I hold dear to my heart. Currently, there are five; the number may rise to six if I can decide on a pokemon for the sixth OC.
(Ideally, my team would consist of a Marshtomp, a Mightyena, a Kirlia, a Breloom, and a Swellow. Right now, these are all in their previous forms.)

I've already run into a problem: none of my pokemon can use Cut, the HM needed to advance in the game after the first gym leader. (I'm fairly sure that Breloom can use it, though.)

My question to you guys is, will I run into any more HM problems like this? Will I need to catch other pokemon, outside of my OC-clones, to finish the game in regards to HM usage?
(lol The only reason I ask this is because I know that most of my friends on dA are huge pokenerds. As am I, but that's beside the point. xD)
